My Work from Home Journey

I'm pleased that you've stopped by my hub. In this hub, I plan to discuss my work from home journey, which started eight years ago when I got my first work from home job with West Telemarketing. But I'm not going to bore you with details of my past work from home experiences, you can read about those on the many articles I've written at Yahoo Contributor Network. This hub will be about my current work from home experience with companies I'm working for right now, Apptical (I'll be saying very little about them because of the confidentiality agreement I've signed with them), Demand Media, Scribie, and clickworker. In addition to working for these coompanies, I also do some guest blog posting on one of my favorite work from home blogs, Work from Home Adventures. And, I'm trying to land some other freelance writing work if I can, so I'll be discussing my progress in that area as well.

Working from home was all but unheard of when I started working from home 8 years ago. But now work from home jobs are all over the place. Because of the popularity of work from home jobs, there are a lot of blogs that provide reviews of work from home opportunities, such as Work at Home Adventures and Real Ways to Earn Money Online. Even with blogs like these providing reviews of work from home opportunities, it can still be difficult to find all the answers. That's why the owner of Work at Home Adventures, Miranda Grimm, has started the site WAH Questions.

This site is a question and answer site similar to ask.com or Chacha, except that it's strictly for questions relating to working from home - the questions posted can be about anything relating to working from home, such as how to find a work at home job, questions about different phone jobs, how to getting started, questions about different home business opportunities, tips, family and life, questions about transcription, data entry, and how to identify work from home scams. Once you ask your question, you'll receive an email when another member has answered your question.

In addition, you can earn points for visiting WAH Questions and for asking and answering questions on the site. These points are then converted to entries for giveaways for prizes such as Paypal deposits and gift cards. The different ways you can earn points on WAH Questions include:

• Registering on the site (100 points)
• Asking a question (10 points)
• Answering a question (15 points)

• Visiting the site (2 points per day)
• Getting an answer to your question (5 points)

Then next month your points will zero out and you'll start from scratch with more chances to earn points for participating in WAH Questions. The winner of the giveaway will be posted in the Winner's Circle on the website, and they'll also receive an email.
